First deliveries of the Lucid Air Dream Edition electric saloon begin in Europe

Lucid Air arrives in Europe with Dream Edition version

Lucid Motors has announced the arrival in Europe of its first electric car, the Lucid Air saloon. The news follows the recent announcement of the opening of Lucid Motors’ first European service, delivery and sales centre in the Netherlands. After undergoing Euro NCAP testing and achieving a 5-star rating, the eagerly awaited Lucid Air is coming to Europe.

Since its presentation in 2020, we have been learning about the steps of the vehicle until its entry into production and the completion of the first deliveries in the United States. More than two years later, the company’s long-awaited electric vehicle is finally arriving in our country.

For the moment, the all-electric saloon, Lucid Air, arrives in a single version called ‘Dream Edition’. This launch version is expected to be followed by its other variants: Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Performance, Pure and, the most powerful, Sapphire.

The Lucid Air Dream Edition version now arriving in Europe is divided into two subversions that each buyer will have to choose from: Dream Edition Performance (P) or Dream Edition Range (R). In the case of the ‘Performance’ version, the focus is on performance with a combined power output of 828 kW, acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a range of 799 km WLTP. The ‘Range’ variant, on the other hand, prioritises range with a power output of 696 kW and a range of 883 km WLTP.

Both models offer a high charging speed of over 900V and are capable of up to 300 kW, offering 400 kilometres of range in just 15 minutes.

At the moment, as announced by the brand, the first deliveries are destined for Germany and the Netherlands. Last May, Lucid opened its first European studio in Munich (Germany), unveiling prices for the European market. It currently has another studio in Geneva (Switzerland), with plans to continue its expansion in Europe.

Lucid is accepting reservations from European customers for all versions of its Lucid Air electric saloon, with a refundable deposit of 300 euros. Countries included are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
