Presentation of the Škoda Enyaq Coupé IV in Spain, this is the proposal of the already successful electric SUV of the brand.
For a few hours we have had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of the most powerful electric car of Škoda, the new Enyaq Coupé RS iV, a vehicle that can be the ideal choice for those seeking the comfort of an SUV but without losing the sporty character both performance and design.
Today there are many manufacturers who choose to launch a complementary model to the SUV under the Coupé category, where the differences are based on a sportier line, mainly by the fall of the floor that starts from the B pillar of the car and also by a greater autonomy in electric models, caused by an improvement in aerodynamics.
Škoda has not wanted to be different from this “fashion” no longer so fleeting, and therefore after the success of the SUV Škoda Enyaq iV, which surprised us with its finishes and quality, now launches in Spain the coupe model, also comes accompanied by an RS version that provides even more sportiness thanks to aesthetic details in the exterior and interior and of course, in the performance aspect.
And yes, in the national presentation of the Škoda Enyaq Coupé iV we had the possibility to try either one of the “normal” versions or opt for the RS version, you can imagine which one we went for, right? You were right, we opted to test the Škoda Enyaq Coupé RS iV for a few hours.
Here’s what we had to say about our experience behind the wheel.
Impressions and opinion of the Škoda Enyaq Coupé RS iV
The most identifying colour of the Škoda Enyaq Coupé RS iV is an electrifying green, a colour that has identified the brand in its sportiest and most powerful versions. However, we opted for blue, an electric blue that is also very beautiful and may be the ideal choice for those who don’t want to attract too much attention while driving.

As we have anticipated, the coupe versions of the current SUVs are first cousins, that is, we find a very similar car both inside and out and it is noteworthy that this time Škoda has managed to maintain a large boot capacity in the coupe version, being 570 litres, a capacity very similar to its SUV brother.
As soon as we sit in the vehicle we notice that extra quality that the Czech brand is giving to its new vehicles, elements used of high quality and finishes worthy in many cases of premium vehicle. In addition, when we opt for the RS version the interior is equipped with some of its own features, such as spectacular front seats that grip you perfectly and the use in several places of a material considered premium as alcantara, this material is found for example in the dashboard itself, giving that touch of quality and sportiness to the vehicle.
As for the driving dynamics, it is a vehicle that is very enjoyable to drive, both when you drive it calmly and when you need that extra power and instant acceleration, the Enyaq Coupé RS iV responds immediately and instantly delivers 300 hp of power (220 kW) with a torque of 460 Nm. This power makes accelerating from 0-100 km/h possible in just 6.5 seconds.
The information provided by the vehicle via the two screens and the head-up display is more than adequate and correct, allowing the driver to have all the key vehicle information in front of his eyes without having to look at the main screen.
In addition, the entire Enyaq iV Coupé range now comes with the new ME3 software, this update provides some interesting improvements, such as improved thermal management of the battery, as well as a completely revamped and much smoother interface than the previous version, an Achilles heel that the Volkswagen group had in its previous software.
The battery fitted in this version is the 82 kWh (77 kWh useful) which allows a range of up to 504 kilometres to be approved under the WLTP cycle. On the other hand, the charging power has been increased to 135 kW, allowing a range of 100 kilometres to be charged in just 6 minutes.
Perhaps one of the biggest drawbacks, especially in the RS version, is that the Volkswagen Group has once again opted for drum brakes on the rear wheels, which may be insufficient at certain times.
The Škoda Enyaq Coupé RS iV is priced at 64,600 euros in Spain, being the most expensive option of the model currently available.
