Geely’s Geometry introduces the two new electric models G6 and M6

Geometry G6 and M6, Geely’s two new electric brand models

We have to go all the way back to spring 2019 to remember when Geely introduced Geometry, a new brand of electric vehicles. In the case of Geometry, in September 2021 it launched the Geometry EX3 electric SUV for the Chinese market and, already in the present, this same month it presented the Geometry C, the electric model capable of rivalling the MG4 Electric (which is increasingly dropping in price).

Continuing with Geometry, this 100% electric brand of the giant Geely, has recently presented two new models, which have been named: Geometry G6 and Geometry M6. The G6 is an SUV-crossover while the M6 is a saloon. Both vehicles are virtually identical in design, regardless of the segment to which they belong. Geometry currently has four models in its portfolio: Geometry A, Geometry C, Geometry E and Geometry EX3.

One of the most notable features of these two new electric models is the standard integration of Huawei’s HarmonyOS system, similar to other systems such as Google’s Android Automotive. This collaboration is also the first between Geely and Huawei.

Both models are powered by a 150 kW, 310 Nm engine, offering acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, as well as a top speed of 150 km/h. Both the G6 and M6 are available in two battery variants: 53 kWh and 70 kWh, offering ranges of around 480 km and 620 km respectively.

The Geometry G6 is 4.75 metres long, 1.80 metres wide and 1.50 metres high, with a wheelbase of 2.70 metres. It is available in two variants within the two battery options available, with a starting price for China of RMB 149,800 (EUR 20,125 at current exchange rates).

The Geometry M6 measures 4.43 metres long, 1.83 metres wide, 1.56 metres high and has a wheelbase of 2.70 metres. It is also available in two versions, with a starting price of RMB 149,800, the same as the G6.

It is not known whether these new Geometry G6 and M6 electric models will eventually arrive in Europe, as will the Geometry C, as well as other electric offerings from the Group such as the Zeekr brand.
