Peugeot e-208 GT now available in Spain for 38,170 euros

Peugeot is now accepting orders in Spain for the e-208 GT, which has a new electric powertrain.

The Peugeot e-208 GT, the most complete version of the e-208 range in terms of equipment, technology and performance, has been available for pre-order in Spain for a few days now.

As we announced a few months ago, Peugeot was going to renew the heart of the e-208 with a new battery and a more efficient engine. This is already included in the e-208 GT.

This new powertrain allows the vehicle to offer 15% more power to 115 kW (156 hp) and alsoincreases the range by 10.5% thanks to its 51 kW battery capacity, which translates into a range of 400 kilometres for the e-208 GT.

All this is possible thanks to the efficiency work carried out by the French brand and an average fuel consumption of 12 kWh/100 kilometres.

Other new features of the new Peugeot e-208 GT

Peugeot has equipped this new version of the e-208 GT with an 11 kW three-phase OBD charger and the vehicle is delivered with a 22 kW three-phase Mode 3 cable, a feature that will speed up charging times.

Moreover, the maximum charging power of the Peugeot e-208 GT is 100 kW, which means that its 51 kWh battery can be charged in just 25 minutes.

The Peugeot e-208 GT also has three new driving modes, with the user being able to choose from three options at any one time, an ECO mode (the most efficient), a Normal mode (for everyday use) and a Sport mode to get the most out of the vehicle’s performance.

Technology is also present in the new e-208 GT, with all the brand’s most advanced driving aids, such as the Peugeot i-Cockpit instrument panel.

Maximum safety is guaranteed with its range of driving assistance functions, which opens the way to semi-autonomous driving. It features adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function, with adjustable safety distance instructions, Lane Position Assist (LPA), which maintains the vehicle’s position, chosen by the driver, on the road, Blind Spot Monitoring System, latest-generation automatic emergency braking (detects pedestrians and cyclists, both day and night, at speeds of up to 140 km/h) and Active Lane Departure Warning with trajectory correction from 65 km/h, among others.

To further enhance safety, the Peugeot e-208 GT is equipped with a state-of-the-art automatic emergency braking system capable of detecting pedestrians and cyclists, day or night, over a wide speed range: between 5 km/h and 140 km/h.

Standard equipment on the Peugeot e-208 GT

As mentioned above, the Peugeot e-208 GT version is the most comprehensive option currently available and comes with everything the French manufacturer’s GT (Gran Turismo) range has to offer as standard.

It comes as standard with full LED headlights with automatic switch to high beam, 3D full LED tail lights with 3 claws signature, 17″ alloy wheels, a specific grille, aluminium pedals, stainless steel door sills and an exclusive perforated leather steering wheel with GT logo, hands-free access and start.

The price of the new Peugeot e-208 GT for Spain starts at 38,170 euros.
