Hours after the official presentation of the BMW i5, the brand has already revealed the price of each of the versions that will be marketed in Spain.
The German brand BMW has taken very little time to reveal the price of the recently presented BMW i5, and is that the configurator of the vehicle is already available for the Spanish market, so we already know its price.
In this article we will focus on indicating only the prices of the different versions and options of the BMW i5, if you want to know all the details of the BMW i5, we invite you to read the article we published when it was presented.
The BMW i5 for Spain comes in two available versions, the single-engine version, BMW i5 eDrive40, and the more powerful all-wheel drive version BMW i5 M60 xDrive.
The entry-level BMW i5, the BMW i5 eDrive40, is priced at €76,750 for the Spanish market, while the BMW i5 M60 xDrive is priced at €114,250.
Although BMW has greatly simplified the configuration options on its new vehicles, it still offers a high degree of customisation, meaning that you can equip it with different types of wheels, interior finishes and even packages such as M Sport or M Sport Pro. Obviously all of this comes at an additional cost to the final price of the vehicle.
There is no doubt that the price of the BMW i5 is not affordable for everyone, but it is in the premium segment, and its prices are very similar to those of its most direct competition such as the Mercedes-Benz EQE, whose price for its most basic version starts at just over 77,000 euros and for its most powerful variant, the Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4MATIC+ version, it rises to 121,248 euros.
We could say that the cards are on the table, and now it will be up to the rest of the manufacturers to make a move to rival the German proposals, or perhaps it is the German brands that will have to readjust prices if they want to be really competitive.
